6th Year Biology and Ag Science students ventured into the woods of Castlecomer Discovery Park to carry out their Leaving Cert Ecology Field Trip.
They worked in groups to carry out experiments and learn all about the Woodland Habitat Study. They captured and released woodland creatures, collecting small insects themselves and even caught a field mouse in a cryptozoic trap.
All students were impressed with the knowledgeable and engaging guides on the day. They are all hoping that Study of an Ecosystem will be on their paper in June. Thanks to Ms. Nolan for organising trip.
