Congratulations to our first year woodwork students who won prizes in the national tree week competition run by JCT and the Tree Council of Ireland. Adam Bandyk came 2nd with his amazing poem from the viewpoint of trees asking us to take care of them. Mr Careys class came 3rd with a group project. They constructed 'Bird observation/feeding platforms'. Students constructed 'Bird observation/feeding platforms'. Students operated the platforms via a pulley system. The platforms were stocked with bird feed.
